Who is Get Unreal?

We are a new and exciting VR centre that offer a variety of virtual reality games and experiences, suitable for all ages.

The best thing is that we are right in the centre of Tarragona.

How do I get to Get Unreal?

It is really very easy to find us, because we are so central. No need to go to an ugly industrial area to have fun. We are right here in Tarragona!

You can walk, if you are nearby, or you can catch a train or bus from most towns. Buses and train fares range from 1.50€ to 3€ per person.

You can also drive to Tarragona and find on-street parking or park at a Council or private parking station.

1 minute from Tarragona Central Market and Tarragona Post Office
10 minutes from the Amphitheatre
5 minutes from The Rambla
8 minutes from Placa de la Font
7 minutes from the train station
2-3 minutes from most bus stops

How do I make a booking?

Bookings cans only be made via the Get Unreal website.

Simply:

Click on Experiences
Choose a game you want to play and click on the Book Now button
Select the number of players, a date and available timeslot
You will then be taken to the checkout, where you can complete and pay for the booking.

You will then receive an email with all the details.

How far in advance can I book a game?

Games can be booked from 1 hour in advance to up to 6 months in advance.

Are games all the same price?

The price of the games may vary depending on things like, the number of players, the time or day the game is played, whether you have a subscription membership or if you have a discount coupon.

Pricing information can be found in the booking form for the game.

I have lost my booking email!

Don’t panic, just contact us and we can help locate it and resend it to you.

Just contact us using your preferred method: email, social media, WhatsApp, or phone.

What is the minimum age to make a booking?

Our games are for all ages, from 8 years to 108 years. However, we ask that children 12 years and under are accompanied by an adult.

Also, you must be at least 14 years of age to complete a booking on our website.

What happens if I am late to a game?

Punctuality is extremely important, because it affects not only your playing experience, but other customers too. We don’t want to upset anyone.

We ask that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to complete the check-in process. This is particularly important if it is your first time.

If you are late by more than 15 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel your game.

Please keep in mind that if you arrive late, the time to finish may be reduced to finish at the reserved finish time.

How can I pay for a game?

All games must be paid upfront and via our website.

We accept payments by credit or debit cards, bizum, electronic transfer or direct debit.

We do not accept or hold cash at the premises.

Can I use a voucher or discount coupon to pay for my booking?

Yes, of course!

Create the booking as normal, and then when you get to the checkout, you can enter the coupon or discount voucher details?

Cancellation Policy

You may change the time of your session once, free of charge and subject to availability, up to 72 hours prior to the time of the reserved session.

Bookings can not be cancelled under any circumstances and no refunds will be given.

What Covid measures are in place at Get Unreal?

At Get Unreal we would like to inform you that we are following the instructions established by the Health Authorities, and we have implemented hygiene and safety measures and protocols to ensure that you can practice your favourite activity with Get Unreal in complete confidence.

Is it safe to play VR games during Covid?

Yes, it is safe.

We take Covid seriously, and we want to make sure that you feel confident and safe playing here at Get Unreal.

We follow the guidelines as provided by the Health Authorities, and have implemented the following procedures and practices:

The booths are 2.5m x 2.5m, well above the 2m social distancing requirements.
We will provide cleaning stations with disinfectant sprays and rolls of paper.
All equipment will be disinfected before and after use.
We also offer disposable single-use hygiene masks that can be worn with the headsets
Hydroalcoholic gel will be provided at the entrance to our centre.

What capacity controls do you use?

If capacity reductions are required, they will be controlled through our system computer, according to the requirements of the relevant authority.

Capacity control will be managed as follows:

The system will only allow reservations in the centre to the maximum permitted capacity.
Staff will also monitor the number of people in the centre.

How many people can play?

The number of players per game, vary depending on the game. Some can be played by 1 person, others require a minimum of 2 players. Most games have a maximum of 6 players.

The maximum number of people playing at any one time is limited to 10, because we have 10 booths.

What are the booth sizes?

The layout of our booths at our centre means that we can comply with the recommended safety distance of 2m.

Each booth is 2.5m x 2.5m.
There is also a curtain between each booth.
We have 10 booths at the centre.
Only one person per booth.

What types of games are available?

We offer a variety of games and experiences, suitable for all ages.

What is the minimum age?

How many people can play?

Can I get sick playing a game?

Some of our activities simulate fast movement or create the impression of height.

Some people may be affected by these simulations and may start to feel dizzy or nauseous or become disoriented.

If this happens, please stop your activity and advise a member of our staff.

We recommend that you are well hydrated before starting your activity. You are more likely to suffer from dizziness and nausea if you are dehydrated.

Can I play VR in a wheelchair?

Absolutely! Our centre is wheelchair friendly.

Most games can be played seated, so they can be played in a wheelchair. Also, our booths are 2.5m x 2.5m, so there is plenty of room to move around.

I wear glasses, will I be able to use my glasses with the headsets?

Yes. Most people find that they don’t need them, because the quality of the games are high definition. If you do need to, you can wear the headset over your glasses, and adjust the headset as required. It is still comfortable.

The headsets are fully ergonomic with:

1440 x 1600 pixels per eye (2880 x 1600 pixels combined)
90Hz refresh rate
110 degrees field of vision
Eye relief with lens distance adjustment and
Adjustable Eye Comfort Setting
Adjustable headphones
Adjustable headstrap

I wear hearing aids, can I play with hearing aids?

Yes, the ear pieces on the headsets sit very comfortably over your ears and hearing aids. They will not cause your hearing aids to whistle.

You can adjust the volume, if necessary

I have never played a VR game before. I am nervous.

There is no need to be nervous.

At the beginning of the game, there is a small tutorial that will guide you through how to use the remotes and move around the game.

Also, we have experienced staff that will help you if at any time you get stuck in a game.

The visuals are so realistic and mesmerising that once you start the game, you will be completely immersed in the experience and you will wonder why you were nervous to start with.
