Typical tasks & activities

  • Greet and check-in customers on arrival at our VR centre
  • Present a player briefing covering safety procedures, operation of the equipment, and how to get help during the game
  • Help players put on the VR equipment, check it is fitted properly and working well
  • Manage and monitor game sessions, assist players with the use of the equipment and provide game guidance and hints when appropriate
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve simple technical issues
  • Charge, clean and maintain the VR equipment
  • Take part in promotional activities such as taking photos and videos, interviewing players at the end of games and encouraging players to leave positive reviews on social media
  • Handle telephone and social media enquiries and interactions
  • General tasks relating to the operation, maintenance and safety of the venue
  • Open and close the venue

Learning & Development activities

  • Attend and contribute to regular staff meetings and training sessions
  • Continuously educate yourself on the company’s products and procedures
  • Play all of our games and experiences to familiarise yourself with them and improve your ability to guide our customers through their sessions


  • These requirements are mandatory. Unfortunately, we cannot consider you if you do not meet these requirements
  • You must be fluent in Spanish and speak English at a sufficient conversational level to successfully carry out your duties with English speaking customers
  • You must be absolutely committed to achieving a consistently exceptional level of customer satisfaction
  • You must have at least basic computer skills including familiarity with Windows 10

Desirable attributes

  • The following attributes are NOT required and we strongly encourage you to apply if you meet the requirements stated above. However, if you have one or more of these attributes it will be considered favourably
  • 1 year or more experience in a customer-facing service role (e.g. retail, tourism, hospitality, leisure)
  • Familiarity with computer and Virtual Reality technology
  • A background or strong interest in computer gaming and / or VR gaming
  • The ability to speak other languages, especially Catalan, French and German

Working hours

  • Our opening hours are mainly in the late afternoon, evening and on weekends. During summer these may be extended. We are also open on public holidays.
  • The job requires a certain amount of flexibility as our staffing demands fluctuate with the number of bookings we receive

Job Summary

Job Type : part time
Hours: Flexible and negotiable, based on your availability and our requirements
Salary : base salary plus performance bonuses
Qualifications : No formal qualifications required
Experience : Prior experience not strictly required, but 1+ year in a customer facing role would be advantageous
